It was absolutely beautiful last weekend here in Okinawa so we decided to take the boys on a hike up Mt. Katsuu. The hike was definitely more challenging then I thought it would be. The beginning of the hike starts with stairs but as you go up you have to climb up and around tree roots and rocks. There are little red bows on the trees along the path to show you the direction you need to go to reach the top.
Once you reach the top you are rewarded with the most amazing view of Nago and the beautiful ocean in the distance!
Bryant has no fear and could not wait to get out on the rock that sticks out of the mountain with an amazing view! It definitely made me a little nervous with him out there!
On our way down the mountain, Brandon and I found our initials carved into a tree!!
And finally, after all that hiking we just had to stop by our favorite ice cream shop…Blue Seal! Our favorite is the one up in Nago! Colt got the new Easter ice cream treat!
It was the best day! My boys are growing up so fast that I try my best to treasure each of these days I have with them all together!!
